MUSIC VIDEO COMPETITIOП

For this year’s festival edition we want to draw some attention to the numerous amazing music videos that are produced and might sometimes get lost in the depths of the internet world since the 90s are over and there is no real music TV culture anymore.
The best 3 music videos will be picked and then broadcasted during the festival in our Krake TV programme taking place between 11-13th December via our website.

OUR SELECTION PROCESS WORKS IN 2 STEPS

Step One — The Jury

For step one you have to pass our festival jury, consisting of four video experts, each one of them coming from a different corner or artistic vision. We want the jury to represent a diverse audio-visual perspective and broad understanding of what it takes to make a good music video. The jury will then - out of all entries - select the 10 best music videos and pass them over to step 2.

Step Two — The Audience

We would like to know your opinion and give the 10 jury-selections to the public to vote. Which criteria you apply to pick your favorite is absolutely up to you.

You may want to consider the following, though:

• most suprising
• costume
• acting
• abstract video art
• visual effects
• narrative
• audio-visual coherence
• dancing
• low budget

Nor can they be held responsible to clarify any occuring issues with the person illegally submitting the video.

FORMAT â€” The music videos should be no longer than 7 minutes. Please make sure the videos doesnt’t contain a credit roll at the end. You can send the credits together with your application via email, though. We will publish the credits when your video gets selected by the jury and will be put on our website for the public voting.
